The WKKO International Sentó Karate is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote a personal commitment to constant, unending self-improvement in the areas of physical health, mental well-being, emotional strength, personal integrity, and community responsibility through the study of Full Contact Karate.
We will pursue this mission by fostering our organization’s growth through national and international classes, workshops, seminars, and tournaments that create an atmosphere of cooperation that brings our community together, forms alliances, and encourages others to join us. We welcome all martial artists and all Karate / Kenpo / Jujutsu practitioners, organizations, federations, and associations to join us so that we may all share ideas in the pursuit of this mission. WKKO was founded in 2005 in the Netherlands with the objectives of being a platform for traditional Martial Arts and Combat Sports, modern Combat Styles, Combatives Defense and Personal Protection systems. Why join the WKKO?
The WKKO has been set up as an independent umbrella body for, in particular, Full Contact Karate and related styles and systems. The setup is non-profit with no additional costs to become a member. Anyone with the appropriate credits can join with his or her Dojo or as an individual member. In addition, one can simply be and remain a member of other organizations. From time to time we hold regional, national and international WKKO camps, tournaments and other activities. Things are also happening online, especially in the previous Covid crisis. The joint use of the WKKO website and logos ensures the distribution of the WKKO name. We are currently growing fast, and we will continue to do it as we founded it in 2005.
